Spotlight on: Love Southampton

On behalf of the APPG on Faith & Society, we warmly invite you to attend Faith New Deal – Love Southampton

Through the Faith New Pilot Fund, Love Southampton supported local food aid and redistribution efforts and conducted a large-scale evaluation of its impact, discovering that 1.4 million meals were distributed in a year (equivalent to £5.8 million of food). This event will feature a variety of perspectives on this impressive, cross-sector collaboration and how national and local government can continue to partner effectively with faith groups to support the most marginalised in our society.

Discussions will be chaired by Rt Hon Sir Stephen Timms MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Faith and Society, and feature a distinguished panel, including representatives from projects awarded Faith New Deal Funding. The event will close with a canapé reception.
