Over the last few months, in response to COVID and these trying times, we have been working closely with charity Love Your Neighbour to meet the needs of those within the UK with food supplies, debt advice and employment training. And as needs continue to increase within our nation, the Love Your Neighbour network has expanded nationally. The charity is now working with 245 churches of all denominations, and over 1,000 schools and local community projects.

We’re so pleased to announce that Love Your Neighbour has now been selected as one of the charities to receive funding from the government’s Community Match Challenge. As part of the program, the government will be matching the funding raised by donors and the 52 hubs within the Love Your Neighbour Network, of which we are one.

Together, we will be continuing to offer crisis food provision, money and debt advice, and employment training and support to those who slip through the cracks in existing provision, and are most in need in our communities.

We’re so excited by this opportunity to continue working closely with Love Your Neighbour, as many eyes turn towards the church and people question how we’re responding to the needs within our communities.

Please continue to volunteer, continue to donate, and most importantly, please continue to pray. Thank you.
