It was great to see the Love Southampton monthly newsletter printed out and on the information table at a church that we visited recently. Since coming out our of dormant state in February, Love Southampton has really tried to proactively engage with the churches in the City to support the recording and promoting of the work being done within Southampton’s communities.

Our newsletters started again in May with our first ‘issue’ focusing on the work that the City was doing to help those displaced by the conflict in Ukraine. However, in June’s edition we started to focus more on highlighting the work that LS was doing, combining this with focusing on a particular christian charity or community project, so that we could help them raise awareness of their work.

We plan to continue this rhythm and layout going forward.
