‘Love Southampton’ exhibits at NHS ‘Cost of living’ summit.

We were very grateful to be invited along to the Solent NHS Trust 'Cost of Living' SUMMIT at Highpoint Venue to share information about our work to the Health and Care employers in Hampshire, and on the IOW.

This was a day of key notes from expert guest speakers discussing how the NHS can better both support their staff during this crisis, but also any patients and service users that might be struggling.

Our Independent chair - Prof. Keith Brown - was the first speaker of the morning and explained the work that we do at Love Southampton, and some of the struggles that we were observing from people that we support regularly. We had some great conversations with service providers and other organisations from across the South.

We set up our table again and handed out copies of our annual report.

Although these are worrying times, it is encouraging to see how so many organisations across Southampton are seeking to tackle these issues head on.
