Help needed for the Churches Winter Beds 2025

Plans are underway to open churches to bring people in from the cold who are sleeping rough, into warm churches. We are now recruiting for help with the churches winter beds project starting in January 2025.

There are three volunteer roles:

01 arrival shift serving a hot meal, we need less volunteers for this.

02 overnight shift where you get, four hours sleep and are awake for the other four hours in case there are any issues

03 breakfast shift, serving breakfast and clearing away the beds. There is a team of four on a shift.

It’s a great volunteer experience and helps people who are sleeping rough in the cold of winter.
